Background

Lombard Security

The Lombard Family (Peter, Veronica, Jason & Candice) come from a long and diverse security background which included providing Management and Consultancy Services to Security Firms in Queensland and New South Wales from 1997 to 2000. Toowoomba Property Protection was formed in 2000, to provide Patrol, Guard, Cash Escort and Alarm Response services. 2000 – 2003 saw the acquisition of a number of small security firms to increase physical security services in Toowoomba. In 2003 the Lombard Family expanded their business to include Electronic Security products and services and began utilising the Lombard Family Crest to identify its various business interests regardless of trade name.



Core ServicesLOMBARD SECURITY GROUP was formed in August 2004, encompassing all the trading names and allowing the business to expand across regional Queensland and beyond whilst satisfying a growing demand for security with integrity. 2006 saw the family invest in the building of a pilot Monitoring Centre with the trading name "Control Room" in Toowoomba. Officially opened on the 15 November 2006 this state of the art electronic communications centre is the only one of its kind on the Darling Downs. Within a month of opening, not only were our valued clients enjoying its benefits, other security companies "Bureau's" were starting to seek out and employ the Control Room's Monitoring services. Lombard Security Group adopted the slogan "Complete Security Solutions" as it had become one of the very few security firms in Australia to offer such a comprehensive array of services.

February 2011 Heralded business  restructuring as a result of personal changes in the cirumstanses of individual family members - Monitoring moved to Brisbane and focus changed to accomodate a more localised presence while reducing business size through consolidation and improving personalisation of services.

Quality Assurance

Rhodesia Holdings Pty Ltd through LOMBARD SECURITY GROUP including TOOWOOMBA PROPERTY PROTECTION and CONTROL ROOM are in the process of establishing a total quality management system to conform to the ISO 9002 series of quality assurance standards through an accredited authority.

Our policy is to provide the most efficient and professional security services to our clients with the goal of total customer satisfaction. To this end our vehicles have been fitted with state of the art GPS & GPRS equipment allowing us to live track the fleet 24/7. Our staff are trained, certified professionals with the safety and security of you and your property the primary objective.

Our People

Peter Lombard

General Manager 

Prior to the founding of Lombard Security Group, Peter Lombard had over 30 years experience in all facets of the security industry, including 8 years anti-terrorist military experience as a combatant. A significant number of years in senior management roles with large international security companies equipped Peter with the knowledge and skills necessary to offer management services to the industry.

These skills are now utilised to ensure that Lombard Security is on the cutting edge of technology, providing clients with world class quality services.

 
 Veronica Lombard

Office Manager 

As office manager, Veronica Lombard is responsible for all the day to day office operations, from managing client enquiries to maintaining uniforms and dress standards.Veronica has gained many years of experience in office management by relieving or assisting branch managers for large international security firms.

In addition Veronica has assisted husband Peter develop and grow Lombard Security in every facet of it's operations, not least of which has been the establishment of a national monitoring centre.

 
 Nicky Armstrong 

Administration Manager/Financial Controller 

(Currently on Maternity Leave) Nicole “Nicky” Angelovski is a very capable manager with an extensive accounting background which includes over 10 years as a financial controller for a successful multi-million dollar Sydney based construction company. Nicky’s expertise extends beyond financial budgets and strategies with a strong focus on policy, procedures and Quality Assurance processes.

Nicky is responsible for maintaining our financial records and inter departmental procedures to ensure quality of service to the customer.

Operations/Administration

Michelle Cross has had an extensive Hospitality Management background prior to joining our organisation in 2007. Michelle Supervised our National Monitoring Centre "Control Room" and this not only involved a support role for operations on a daily basis but more importantly, the training of all operational staff and the co-ordination of all services with all depatrments.

Michelle has strong communication skills, a well rounded knowledge of our business and the security industry as a whole. Currently wearing many hats Michelle also assists with Administration and Accounts Payable.

Accounts Recievable

Rebecca "Bec" Smith joined our firm in 2008 as a National Monitoring Centre "Control Room" Operator and whilst quite young has proven to be very mature in her outlook. Bec's communication skills are good and constantly improving.

A quick study Rebecca has been taking over the role of Accounts Receivable on February 1, 2011 (Restructure Start Date) and has worked with our clients to ensure that our records are current and that debtors are kept informed and satisfied.

Personnel

LOMBARD SECURITY GROUP offers local employment opportunities including traineeships, leading to permanent full time positions thus ensuring continued customer satisfaction. All personnel hold current Licenses and First Aid certification at the appropriate level. All physical security personnel are supplied with Two-Way Radios on a private channel with encryption and mobile phones to ensure their safety and security.
